Paramedics For Children announces plans to construct a children's center and orphanage in Copan Ruinas, Honduras.

It is now official, Paramedics For Children announces today plans to build a children's center and orphanage in the town of Copan Ruinas, Honduras. Property has been located and placed under contract. The site located on the south side of the town will consist of 1.7 acres with PFC planning to construct a building to house up to one hundred children.

"Although the money for the land has been raised we are still short the funds needed to build the building, but I am sure that our contributors will step up to the plate like so many times before to help us to fund this most needed project" said Rodger Harrison President and co-founder of Paramedics For Children.

Inspired by great need PHC has been working behind the scenes to procure the land and to raise the funds needed to build a new building to re-house the children of Angelitos Felicez ( Happy Angels) children center. "This small orphanage and day care center has long needed better facilities. This over crowded building has reached the point were it cannot be stretched any further. With out a new building and proper facilities many children will have to be turned away. Our latest reports indicate that the building which is less then one thousand square feet is permanently housing over 25 children. Many children are not getting the care they need and It is a miserable situation that PFC is uniquely qualified to to help solve".
